I need to buy a calling card to call a russian mobile phone, any ideas?

I have a Russian girlfriend, I just got her phone number, it’s a russian mobile phone. I am not sure if I need a special card to call her or if a regular one will work. ANy help is great.

I am going to terminate my sprint contract at the end of this month, and start using the prepaid phone card.Can I still keep my phone number(the one sprint gave me)? and i wanna know how the whole pre-paid phonecard thingy works.How about my address book from the phone? will they be automically erased if i terminate my contract with sprint?
I am so lost.:(
