Im just asking because i have no idea, and every time i call the verizon people the line is busy 0.o So if i buy a phone from ebay or something can i program it to be a prepaid phone (on the prepaid cards) instead of a plan?

2) Not all Verizon phones can be used on prepaid plan

Answer by Shannon E Yes you can. The only reason most companies ask you to sign contracts is to get a discount ont he phone. You can use phone cards with any phones
