Question by soccerkid: When using prepaid phones, can i buy a prepaid phone card and use it for texting?
i’m very new to the prepaid phones stuff. i want to get a Virgin Mobile prepaid phone but i want to know if i can text internationally with it. (the phone type is “Virgin Mobile Prepaid Marbl Cell Phone”)
lets say i do get a prepaid phone and i buy a prepaid card for it with 200 mins. how much international texts can be used in that card? (i want to send and receive text to and from the Philippines if you must know)

Answer by SouthParkRocks sorry to say but the 200 minute prepay card doesn’t cover text messages. if you want to send text messages to the Philippines then i suggest just put some money in your Top Up account and text from there. I’m not sure how much texting costs but I’m assuming it’s 15-20 cents (again just guessing). check the website to be sure though. hope this helped.
Question by Biofreak: Cheapest way to call long distance with T Mobile?
I currently use T Mobile for calling, and don’t use it a whole lot. I only call one person long distance with my mobile phone. Should I set up a special plan with T Mobile or should I go with one of those long distance calling cards they sell everywhere? If I use the calling card do I still have to pay through T Mobile for the long distance? Or do I pay less through T Mobile if I am using a calling card? I’m new to this and its a little confusing.

Today, I tried to use the Mobile Suica provided by the East-JR, railway company in Japan.
We can ride on a train just with a mobile phone in Tokyo now.
We don’t have to buy any tickets and any prepaid cards to get through gates.
The electric money feature of the phone is also able to pay for books, foods and many other stuffs in shops inside/outside of stations.
The Mobile Suica system will make our wallet fired sometime.
