Question by mangalawi: Looking for a prepaid phone card that work with my T-mobile phone while outside U.S.?
I’m planning to visit Europe and Asia next month; currently I have a T-mobile phone. Can anybody help me to find a phone card that works with my cell phone while I am in abroad?

I have a few people that are over seas that i would like to call. But international service is expensive on my cell phone. I have heard there is calling card that can be used with cell phones. But i have no idea where to start. Plus my mobile/cell is pre-paid. Does it matter?

yes u can use a calling card with cell phones. my boyfriend does it all the time to call his dad back home. and the only thing with the prepaid is that ur gonna use minutes unless u have free nights/weekends. then it wont use them.

You can not do it right out of the box but with a little work and less than $ 20 you could get the phone unlocked and pop the prepaid phone card into it.

I would be careful though as prepaid plans don’t always cover some of the cool things you can do with phones these days. If you get an awesome smartphone and use a bunch of data on it you will be in for a horrible surprise when your prepaid account gets debited for hundreds of dollars.
