Question by Richard H: Can AT&T calling cards be used for long distance faxing?
Best answer:
Answer by dextersadventures
This is what their site said when I put in FAXING: While you can send local faxes without a long distance carrier, you will need to select a carrier in order to send faxes to numbers that are long distance or local toll calls. You can sign up for AT&T service right now, online. It takes just a few moments and will eliminate delays and difficulties when you need to send a fax outside your local calling area.

Question by Joseph: How does a calling card work? Where to find?
I’m looking for an international calling card. I can’t keep using my phone minutes, it gets expensive, and someone told me that the calling cards were a lot cheaper.
I don’t know how to use one, or where to find it. Can someone help me find one and/or explain how to use?

You should be able to find them at 7 eleven stores and some other types of pharmacy locations. It is usually you call from a pay phone or a regular phone by entering the number on the card and then it prompts you who you want to call. And thats how it works. Havent used one since I was a teenager though, I imagine it works the same.

It costs Rs. 2.85/minute to call the United States from Pakistan on a Mobilink or Telenor cell phone. That’s a little less than 5 cents a minute, no activation, connection or weekly fees whatsoever.
Further, if your contacts in Pakistan have a Magic Jack with a US phone number, you can call them for free using the anytime minutes from any US cell phone plan.
I’ve used callingcards.com, nobel.com and a host of other card providers but now I don’t use any of them. It’s very easy to send a text message from my email to the phone of my contact in Pakistan and they are able to call me at minimum expense direct from their cell phones. Or I call their Magic Jack.
