Question by Krishna P: Call New Zealand from USA via Prepaid International Calling Card?
So recently my friend who went to my school who happened to be my best friend moved to New Zealand because his Mom was dating someone there and they talked via webcam. So his mom thought to move there with her boyfriend and get married..this was bad for me and him.

He said to give him my e-mail so we can talk with each other..but I was stupid and forgot to give him my e-mail address.

I have his phone number, but I can’t call him. My dad can’t pay for it in our land line and my cell phone and my parent’s cell phone have Calling Restrictions.

Can anyone tell me how I can call him (Via land line home phone or cell phone) with a PrePaid international calling card?

I want to have at least 200 Minutes. So can someone tell me what card to buy and how I use it for my home phone? Thanks in advance.
When I buy the card, how do I use it? =P

Just follow the instructions outlined on the web site:

http://cqvoip.com//global-cc

Just sign-up for a pay-per-call rate plan (free).
Then deposit credits to the account ($ 10 or so)
Then make your calls through any of their local area access numbers listed here:

If there isn’t a local access number in your area code, then you would need to create your own personalized access number as explained here:

CallCentric is a VoIP carrier that provides Calling Card access to their VoIP network from regular landline phones. They have free local access numbers in most major USA and Canadian cities.
They are a pre-paid pay-as-you-go service. No contracts, no commitments, no minumums, and no strings.

Their rate to New Zealand landlines is only 1.98¢/min.

If there is no local area access number in your area code, you can create your own private access number for as little as $ 1.95/month in the area code of your choice.

CallCentric also has local calling card access numbers in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand. This means your friend can call you from NZ to USA for only 1.98¢/min too.
