When using prepaid phones, can i buy a prepaid phone card and use it for texting?

i’m very new to the prepaid phones stuff. i want to get a Virgin Mobile prepaid phone but i want to know if i can text internationally with it. (the phone type is "Virgin Mobile Prepaid Marbl Cell Phone")

lets say i do get a prepaid phone and i buy a prepaid card for it with 200 mins. how much international texts can be used in that card? (i want to send and receive text to and from the Philippines if you must know)
